Are you considering trying the Hydroxatone anti-wrinkle cream? I have been using it for the past 14 months now and have created this website to document my experience with the product. It should give you the information you need to decide if you want to want to give Hydroxatone a go.
Personally it has given me the results that I wanted, helping me to gradually reduce my eye wrinkles. Obviously everyone is not looking for gradual reduction, so if you are looking for more instant results then maybe you should consider something like botox treatment.
Botox has never really been an option for me, because putting it mildly I HATE needles.
How I First Heard About Their Product
I first heard about the cream through a friend, it was about 14 months ago now. I’ve got the date firmly stuck in my memory because it was only a few months before my wedding.
At the time amongst other things like weight loss, wrinkles where the equivalent of my ex-husband…a big dis-like. I wanted to look beautiful for my fast approaching wedding day. I mean, name me a woman who doesn’t want to look like a princess in their wedding pic’s…!!….
I started noticing crows feet and general eye wrinkles when I was approaching my thirties, but they never really bothered me to tell you the truth. I had so many other priorities in life, like my career and children, that my general appearance just took a back seat.
It was only a few months before my second wedding that I started looking at myself long and hard in the mirror, and I can remember on one occasion bursting into tears. I didn’t want to walk down the aisle feeling as un-confident about my appearance as I did.
My best friend, got an hour of me ranting and sobbing down the phone.
In that phone call, like all good friends do she managed to calm me down and talk some sense into me. Once she managed to pull me out of my toddler state, she recommended a few products that she had been seeing good results with, and this was one of them.
The next day still somewhat emotional, I end up ordering a load of beauty products off of the internet. When I look back on it the majority were no good, but this product is one of the things that I still use, because it has worked well for me.
My Experience
When I first ordered the product I started with the 30 day free offer. I think they charged around $8.00 shipping and packaging (you can now get if for only $1.99), and they sent me out a 2 month supply and a free bottle of balancing toner.
I remember when it came being quite surprised by how much you get in each jar. They are quite generous with the amount they give you. For me there was more than enough cream in one pot for the 30 days of use.
When I started my trial I followed the instructions exactly, applying it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night before I went to bed. I still keep up this regime today.
Before I applied the cream I made sure I had cleansed, and used the toner. I still use their toner because suffer from dry skin, and its one of the only good toners in this price range that doesn’t dry out my skin.
You may get the same results if you used any other toner, I just particularly like their toner.
An annoying thing about the auto-ship program that I order through, is you get the toner for free in the first month, but after that you have to phone them up and re-order it separately if you want it. It costs $40 a bottle, but I have managed to stretch a bottle to last one and half months, if I’m being sensible with the amount I use.
It took me around 2 and a half weeks to start seeing results with the treatment, with the most noticeable reduction around my eyes. The next areas for me to start seeing improvement were my lines around my mouth, and it took me about another week for me to to see improvement on my frown lines.
The Cost Of The Product
The cheapest way I have found to buy the cream is through the free 30 day trial and autoship program. Its a bit of bummer that they don’t allow previous customers to order free trials again, as we’d be able to re-sign up to get free bottles of toner.

The cheapest 30 day free trial I have found so far is for $1.99. For this they will send you 2 months supply (2 jars) and a free bottle of toner.
You only have to pay $70 through the autoship program for a jar, instead of $80 for the same jar outside of the autoship program.
Just remember, if you don’t want to carry on using the product after the free trial, you have to give them a ring and send the jars back, and as long as you do this they don’t charge you anything more on top of the $1.99 you first paid.
Also so its clear, if you carry on after the 30 day free trial, you pay for the “free jars”. What they do is charge you $70 at the end of the free trial, for the jar sent, and then start charging you every month from then on for your supply.
A useful tip: If you find that you have are not using as much cream, then you can give them a call and they will skip a months supply for you saving you money. I have started doing this recently as I find I’m not going through whole jars monthly anymore.
Is The Product OK for sensitive skin?
I think I said earlier that I suffer from sensitive skin, and have been using Hydroxatone with no problems for over a year now.
The things that have irritated my skin with others products in the past have been certain preservatives, fragrances, as well the preservatives they use also known as parabens, and as far as I’m aware the product is free of these.
Everyones skin is different and I know with a lot of the products I have tried in the past my skin reacted differently to how I thought it would. So its hard to really know how your skin is going to react without trialing the product.

Hydroxatone Ingredients
Its bugs me a bit when you see anti-wrinkle cream adverts using the longest words ever, to describe their ingredients. So I’l keep this section simple, as the Hydroxatone website is also slightly guilty of making their product sound like rocket science.
The 3 main ingredients, the “good stuff” that deals with the wrinkles, are are explained below.
Hyaluronic Acid – Hyaluronic Acid works for anti-wrinkle treatments because it attracts and holds up to 200 times its own weight in water. Once its absorbed into your skin, it attracts water plumping up the area to reduce the appearance of your wrinkles.
If you have to time you can read more about its use in cosmetics here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyaluronan
Argireline – This second ingredient was recently developed, in the sunny capital of Spain Barcelona. It was developed by a laboratory over there called Lipotec. The ingredient was developed as a cheaper and safer alternative to botox. It works in a similar way to botox by reducing the strength of the muscle contractions that cause your facial expressions.
If you get a chance have a quick read of this PDF which explains the ingredient in more detail, and shows pictures of wrinkle reduction.

Matrixyl 3000 – This 3rd ingredient (which sounds a bit like a bad sci-fi movie), has been clinically proven to increase the elasticity of skin. Matrixyl 3000 does this by giving the cells that produce collagen in our skin a kick up the backside.
Less collagen is produced in our skin as we age, and as a result the skin tends to get weaker and wrinkle more easily. This is generally because collagen gives our skin structure.
If get a chance have a read of the PDF below. Its a scientific study done on 24 people using Matrixly 3000 and one of the other ingredients Hyaluronic Acid. If you don’t want to read the whole document skip to the conclusion, to see the results that where achieved.

Conclusion
Hydroxatone has worked for me, and continues to keep me and my mirror happy.
But I know when I am trying anything new theres always that nagging uncertainty, and I find myself asking myself questions like will it work for me?, it this a scam? and plenty of other questions.
So if your still a bit unsure or skeptical your best option is to try the free trial and see if you get the results you want. If you don’t then you’ve lost nothing more than $1.99 and the time it takes you to send back the empty jars.
